of monkeys that allows visitors to walk amongst many of the breeds

This theme park is like a futuristic universe packed with rides,
shows and exhibitions on land sea and in space some of which are
the only ones in the world.
This famous park is just to the North of Poitiers and about 40 minutes
by car from Romagne.

| Oradour
sur Glane No one can prepare you for the effect
this village and museum will have on you. The old village is left
just as it was after the Waffen SS arrived in 1944 and murdered
almost all of the 600+ inhabitants and set fire to all the buildings.
It’s about an hour away and well worth the visit.

Marais Poitevan
This is a beautiful area that starts about half an hour North
West of here and covers a large area towards La Rochelle. There
are hundreds of pretty tree lined canals criss-crossing the area
which can be enjoyed on punts available for hire at various points.

Traditional French Markets
You can’t leave France without visiting one or more of
their wonderful markets. The sights and smells are just typical
of what this area is about and allow you to witness how the people
live, sell and buy on a daily basis.

L’Isle Jourdain
One of the many quick and easy to reach pretty towns in the area
with a spectacular viaduct over the Vienne river.
